
An American football defensive end for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, Julius Frazier Peppers was born on January 18, 1980. He born in Wilson, North Carolina and also played college football at North Carolina. He was a good student and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He has following awards under his name Sporting News Freshman All-American (1999), First-team All-ACC (2000), Second-team AP All-American (2000), Second-team Football News All-American (2000),Consensus First-team All-ACC (2001), Consensus First-team All-American (2001) and Bronko Nagurski Trophy finalist (2001).
He also won NFL award and honors like NFL Rookies of the Month (10/02), 2002 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Pro Football Weekly All-Rookie Team (2002), 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 NFC Pro Bowl, 2004, 2006 All-Pro Team and NFC Defensive Player of the Month (11/04, 11/08)
He likes to contribute in the charitable cause and he donated $100,000 to a scholarship program to support African-American students in February 2009 at North Carolina.
Basketball was his first priority and he has a height of 6 ft 5 in. Ray Davis, the football coach at Southern Nash takes him as a great asset for the team. Peppers never play football before.
He developed himself as a good footballer and won Chuck Bednarik Award for the nation’s top defensive player. Owing to his expertise he also won Bill Willis Trophy as the nation’s best defensive lineman. He is 29 years old and a very energetic human being. He is very quite in his personal life and his teammates also respect him. Peppers opponents also respect him a lot.
